The October Gallery

Today we visited the October Gallery to see the work of Gerard Quenum as part of Black History Month. We began by learnign about Benin and the journey of the dolls in the exhibition. Then we drew one of the sculptures that made us feel something, paying special attention the the texture. Later, we discussed Quennum’s work and noticed that it talks a lot about movement and travel, so we made an animation about this.
